Former rally ace Kristian Sohlberg comes into rallycross for the first time in 2015, joining Albatec for select rounds of French, British and World RX at the wheel of the team’s Peugeot 208 RX Supercar. The former Mitsubishi works driver has contested World Rally Championship events, and European Rally Champion rounds after making his competitive debut in his local Finnish Rally Championship in 2000.
Finishing runner-up in the 2002 PWRC, he moved onto the world stage in 2004 before switching to the Tommi Makinen team in 2009/10. A testing role in 2011-13 led to select appearances in ERC and WRC in 2014, before making the switch to rallycross in 2015.
